2 Product Managers ICT

For one of our customers in Vilvoorde, the world's largest technology distributor and leading technology sales, marketing and logistics company, we are looking for a 2 Product Managers.

Responsibilities:  

• Product Management: be able to segment product portfolio to align with customer & market demand, and provide basic product information support both internally and externally. Write marketing plans for attributed vendors.
• Product Marketing Management & communication: use diverse communication tools to deliver the product and/or vendor “message” internally and externally in an effective and timely manner.
• Manage the vendor relationship: identify vendor core business, establish regular review meetings with vendor contacts and inform about the companies’ initiatives.
• Develop the account: create and maintain quarterly marketing plans with measurable objectives, ensure active vendor participation in company marketing activities and expressions.
• Pursue the sales and marketing objectives: manage marketing funds in an optimal and timely manner, be accountable for own marketing projects from conception to invoicing, strive for achievement of sales and marketing objectives. 

Duties:  

• Develop comprehensive understanding of vendor business, product lifecycles, roadmaps & target market segmentation.
• Produce quarterly and yearly marketing plans aligned to the business charters.
• Realize monthly and quarterly marketing revenue objectives.
• Assume full responsibility for the organization of vendor incentive programs.
• Seek to identify opportunities for additional reseller seminars and shows and work with the companies’ Marcom department to organize and run these events.

Reporting Line:

• Report to the Business Manager.
• Works closely with related buyers, marketing communications, e-business and sales department.

Skills & Training:

• Open-minded, sense for creativity, good commercial aptitude, results driven, achievement orientated, high output consistency.
• You have at least two to three years of relevant experience in product management
• Team player, proactive, self-reliant, accountable, sense of curiosity for new technologies and ICT products.
• Well organized, autonomous, prioritize own tasks effectively, innovative and flexible to new ideas and working methods.
• Good communication: articulate, listening and questioning skills, good writing, good bilingual skills both written and oral (NL/FR with good knowledge of English).

Experience:

• Starter with any relevant experience, or up to 2 years maximum experience in an ICT environment.
• Bachelor or Master with preferably some marketing backgrounds.
• Good knowledge of Office applications, especially Word and Excel.
